Ostrze/głownia z pięciu pasm: dwie zewnętrzne to włóknista stal o zawartości węgla ok 0,5%, rdzeń z dwóch przeciwbieżnie skręconych prętów po 21warstw każdy oraz prosty pasek dziweru 17 warstw w samym środku. Tuleja jest zgrzana dwóch kawałków płaskownika z włóknistego żelaza prostopadle do siebie ułożonych: wewnętrzna powierzchnia ma włókna w poprzek, zewnętrzna (widoczna) wzdłuż).

Blade made of five straps: two external of fibrous steel with the carbon content of about 0.5%, a core made of two counter-rotatingly twisted rods - 21 layers each and a straight pattern welded bar of 17 layers in the middle. The sleeve is welded together of two pieces of wrought (fibrous) iron flat to each other: the reverse surface is transversely, the outer (visible) running.
