Duży saks, Big seax. Photostory

Witam wszystkich, którzy tu trafili. Nóż ten powstawał ponad pół roku, ale w końcu się udało skończyć ;-P

Szerokość: 30mm / 1,18"
Grubość przy rękojeści: 5mm / 0,2"

Materiały:
Głownia: 3 pręty NCV1 (80CrV2), 2 pręty stare włókniste żelazo.
Rękojeść w kolejności od głowni: stare żelazo, skóra, poroże jelenia, skóra, drewno śliwy Węgierki, skóra, stare żelazo.

Całość jest bardzo solidna, nadaje się do cięcia gałęzi, batonowania drewna, a i włosy na ręce goli :)


Hi all, who landed here. The knife has been created for more than half a year, but finally I managed to finish it up ;-P

Materials:
Blade: 3 bars of 80CrV2, 2 bars of wrought iron.
Handle in order form the blade: wrought iron, leather, deer antler, leather, plum wood*, leather, wrought iron.

The whole item is very solid and strong. Suitable fo cutting branches, or chopping woods, and ... shaving hair on  the arm :)

* The wood comes from my own garden it is a variety we call "Hungarian Plum" and it's probably the best strain for plum brandy (sliwowica, slivovitz) very common from southern Poland to Balkans. And the wood is beautiful, sometimes compared with some exotic species.
